Please take a moment to think about whether adoption is right for you before you apply at Diamond from the Ruff, we devote our time and resources to making sure every dog is healthy, happy, and ready for their forever home. Because of this, we only place our dogs in the safest, most loving, and responsible homes.
If you don’t meet our adoption requirements, we kindly ask that you explore other local rescues or shelters to find your perfect match. Our team is made up of volunteers with jobs, families, and our own pets, so please allow 5–7 days for a response after submitting your application.

Stella
Chewy
Sage
Stella is a beautiful small female German Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds and about 2-3 years old. She has a soft, thin coat and doesn’t shed much. Stella makes a great watch dog, and she’s very smart. Her favorite things are playing in the water and chasing the ball. She is fast, agile, and very intelligent.
Chewy is a 1-2 year-old male cattle dog mix. He weighs about 40 pounds. Although he’s a little reserved at first, once you get to know him, he’s playful, fun, and full of energy. He loves to play fetch. So far, he knows basic commands like sit, down, and heel. He’s sweet, cute, and sits properly like a little statue. In the time we’ve had Chewy, he gets along well with other dogs.
Sage is a 5 year-old female German Shepherd weighing about 60 pounds. She has lovely doe eyes and has a very sweet demeanor. In her time with us, she has been quiet, playful, and loves to chase the ball and play in water. She is a bit timid at first, but once you get to know her she loves to follow you everywhere and is like your little shadow.

Yuki
Sadie is a 3-4 year-old Belgian Malinois with a beautiful sable coat. She weighs about 45 pounds. She has a lot of energy and a lot of love to give. She absolutely loves to play with water and play fetch. Sadie is a super sweet girl with a big heart and is always eager to please. She is gentle, but best in a house without other dogs.
