Volunteer

Our Philosophy

We are a small team looking to improve resources and knowledge through the website to potential adopters, and people who have both found and lost dogs. We pull high risk dogs from local shelters that have been long-term residents, some that have both medical or behavioral issues. We believe that dogs need time to decompress from a shelter environment. Dogs adapt to new environments differently and each dog is unique in adjusting to their new home.

We can’t imagine how many names a dog has in his lifetime due to having multiple owners. Dogs love to please their owners but they can also be terrified at the same time. It can take days, months, and even years for a dog to fully be comfortable and show their true character.
